The Employment Law group has successfully represented companies in a wide range of employment related matters. Representation has addressed claims or issues involving racial discrimination, sexual discrimination and harassment, disability discrimination, age discrimination, non-competition and non-solicitation covenants, intellectual property ownership disputes, executive compensation contracts, independent contractor disputes, wrongful or retaliatory discharges, WARN Act issues, and wage and hour disputes. The firm’s employment attorneys are prepared to assist clients with respect to internal investigations and in proceedings before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Kansas Human Rights Commission, the Missouri Human Rights Commission, and federal and state courts.
